Majors social

Have some fun and learn some  new skills. This class is a class for anyone after Minors or joins us with Minors level skills in place, who would like to enjoy the social aspect of training whilst teaching your dog new skills.

This class is on going all welcome. Ideal as a drop in class where you can learn new skill at various 

5 x class pass available $100

Requirements to enter class

This class is an automatic progression for any students who wish to continue after completing Minor Paws.

If you wish to join from an external training environment, you will need to undergo a brief assessment of suitability which can be completed in person (booked) or virtual.

Skills required– 

Sit and Drop on cue 
Handler demonstrates positive reward based training knowledge ( food or toys)
Leave it food dropped
Settle on mat 

Hander and dog teams must also demonstrate competent handling skills and some degree of loose leash walking.

$25 Non Members or $20 members

Majors Masters

This workshop will give you the opportunity to learn more advanced training skills, such as Heel, Stays, Longer Mat settles, emergency stops
Upon completion, you and your dog will be able to perform some useful tricks and exercises that will serve helpful in everyday life.

Cost: $20 per class member or $25 non Members

Requirements to enter class

This class is the next level progression for any students looking for the next challenge after Majors 1 social

If you wish to join from an external training environment, you will need to undergo a brief assessment of suitability which can be completed in person (booked) or virtual.

Skills required 

Sit and Drop on cue  
Handler demonstrates positive reward based training knowledge ( food or toys)
Sit and Drop Stay for 1 min seconds
Leave it food dropped
Settle on mat 1 min
Clear focus and attention
Basic heel control
Competent recall ( come)

Hander and dog teams must also demonstrate competent handling skills as this class is sometimes offered off, leash dogs must be ok around other dogs – if you have concerns you may still join but we will avoid off leash exercises.  

 

$25 Non Members or $20 members

Urban Manners

Take your skills on the road literally. This class will put into effect everything you have learned and take your skills on the road to experience real-life situations. This class is suitable for dogs with mild reactivity assessed by one of our trainers or overexcited walkers.

Learn to work and control your dog in public, at a cafe and more! Advanced training for competition or fine-tuning behaviours in the presence of various stimuli.
Dogs that love this class include ex reactive or shy dogs, as well as handlers who want to advance their dogs skills on the road.

 

Cost: $20 per class member or $25 non Members

5 x class pass available $100

Requirements to enter class

This class is open to most students who have completed some level of training Minors level. It is a muti level class/

Hander and dog teams must also demonstrate competent handling skills this class is often held in public and suits most dogs.
